Felipe is a qualified lawyer registered with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). He is a member of the Human Rights Commission of Minas Gerais’ Section of the Brazilian Bar Association. He has worked as an adviser for the Minas Gerais Truth Commission and as a lawyer in Brazil; previously, he worked as a researcher at the Latin American Transitional Justice Network (RLAJT).
Felipe holds an LL.M. from the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, and an M.Phil. in Law from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). He is an associate researcher at the Study Centre on Transitional Justice – UFMG and a senior editor at the King’s Student Law Review.
Currently, Felipe is an MPhil/PhD Candidate at the Dickson Poon School of Law (funded by the Centre for Doctoral Studies, King’s College London). His main interests are human rights, transnational law, legal cultures and the Brazilian and Latin American transitional periods.
