Martha graduated from the University of St. Andrews with a first-class degree in Art History. She decided to enter the legal profession upon completing an internship at a Japanese law firm in Tokyo during her undergraduate studies. She completed the graduate diploma in law (GDL) in 2020 with distinction.
After completing the GDL, Martha undertook Pro Bono work at a free law clinic in London. She helped individuals with no access to legal services and offered guidance on issues of immigration, employment, housing, and debt. Working as a paralegal at PGMBM to help defend the rights of individuals through claimant-based litigation aligns with Martha’s core values as a legal professional.
