Romona Harding

Romona graduated with a degree in law in 1997. She worked in business development for 12+ years and established her interest in corporate responsibility and good governance before returning to the law in 2010 to qualify.

She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013. She then spent one year in Northern Ireland lecturing in business law, corporate social responsibility, and corporate governance. Romona joined Leigh Day in 2014 to develop her experience of corporate responsibility relative to the law and qualify as a solicitor. She worked on a variety of cases including the Shell Nigeria Group Litigation; Zimmer Durom Metal-on-Metal Hip Group Litigation (and assisting on the larger DePuy Pinnacle Group Litigation); Infected Blood Public Inquiry; Volkswagen Emissions Scandal; and individual clinical trials cases.

Romona is passionate about using her skills to encourage best practise, to mitigate risk, and to eliminate negative impacts on our world. In her spare time she runs, swims, and cycles, and likes to travel.
