COMMUNITY

We want to make the world a fairer, better place where everyone has access to justice – for our clients, our staff, our service providers and the communities where we are based.

Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, we are building links with many community organisations across the world so we can meaningfully engage with causes close to our hearts. We strive to use our skills and expertise to support others in our community.

Some of the organisations we support and volunteer our time and expertise to include:

The Whitechapel Mission is a volunteer-led organisation in London that provides food, shelter, clothing and medical care daily for up to 600 men and women who are caught in the cycles of poverty and homelessness.

The Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. They work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels, or struggling to manage their accommodation. They are committed to helping people find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living.

Breaking Barriers enables individuals who are in the UK as refugees and living in London, to acquire the knowledge, confidence and experience they need to secure stable and fulfilling jobs.

Miami Waterkeeper is an organization located in South Florida that works with community leaders to improve environmental policies and, when necessary, pursues legal advocacy to defend environmental law.

Black Arts Matter (BAM) is committed to shifting the perception of Black history by focusing on education and introducing a way to create a more inclusive curriculum in primary schools.

Refuge is committed to a world where domestic violence and violence against women and girls is not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety. The charity aims to empower women and children to rebuild their lives, free from violence and fear.

PGMBM’s Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) committee was constituted in August 2021. Since then, the committee has been enthusiastically seeking out and identifying appropriate causes and initiatives that PGMBM and its staff could collectively support, utilising the firm’s allocation to staff members of two days pro bono/CSR leave days per year in doing so.
