Leila graduated with a first-class, joint-honours LLB Law & Business degree and thereafter, received a scholarship to study the BPTC. Leila successfully completed pupillage and subsequently accepted tenancy at a highly reputable London Chambers. Leila’s legal career spanned across Business Crime, General Crime and Regulatory Law. Whilst on her feet, Leila defended multi-handed criminal matters including fraud, confiscation proceedings, regulatory matters (predominantly FCA/SRA investigations), protest/ human rights cases and serious gang violence gaining substantial advocacy experience across the English Magistrates and Crown Courts. Leila does not accept legal instructions at Pogust Goodhead.

Leila-Zoe Mezoughi co-manages the Latam department of the firm in Brazil, providing management and leadership to the team and supporting business operation and strategy. Over the past year, she has been fundamental in restructuring the Latam department, developing the Firms legal operational strategy and setting up proper structures for growth of the business in Latin America.
